According to some writings, origami is a Japanese sacred art with ancient roots (610 AD), its word is composed of two different terms: Oru (fold) and Kami (paper) that together mean literally fold the paper.
The beauty of origami is not in the paper, but in its transformation, in the form it takes when folded. Each fold has a precise and indispensable role to get to the finished product, if there is no step you do not reach the desired result.
In 1928 came out the first book entirely dedicated to this art, those pages were the basis of the first theory on origami elaborated by Josef Albers, design expert and member of the Bauhaus.
